F F A Fundraiser

We went to a F F A Fundraiser this weekend, it was fun. Andrew got to chase after animals.

Relay race

The kids were suppose to jump in the potato sack, half way through pick up the bat swing it around and then finish jumping the rest of the way. Andrew started out really well, but once he got to the bat he was good. He just wanted to play with that bat. I thought he did a very good job though the other kid in the race were much older, but he wanted to do it, I wasn't going to stop him. He had fun that is all that mattered.

Mommy had helped him a little. Although Mommy thought that was a bit dangerous. There were kids of all different ages and they gave them all a metal bat. But at least they were not blindfolded, so the could see what they were hitting.

The Easter Egg Hunt

He found three egg all by himself, I thought that was good because the most the kids found were four and the parents were not suppose to help, but most of them did.

Happy Birthday Bobby

Today is Bobby's Birthday we made a chocolate cake with a mocha frosting, Yummy!

Santa Cruz

Wensday we went to Santa Cruz. Nana told us there was an Aquarium there. So we went and checked it out. I was very small, but it did have a touching pool and that was fun.

Andrew took these pictures. The sting ray is his best picture yet. He has a tendency to walk away while taking the picture, so the picture come out fuzzy sometimes.

These I thought were funny, partly because it really is how a three year old see the world.

My little Mexican

So Andrew loves to help out. And he really pays attention to everything. We were at the store today, Andrew got so excited he said "Tomatillo, Tomatillo." It was cute. Now you tell me how many three year old's know what tomatillos are? That is my little Mexican. He gets worked up when we eat Mexican food. I don't know if it is just because he likes to say the words or he is just really excited to eat it.

Gymnastics Part 2

I know it is not the best picture, but with him moving and not being able to have flash photograph in the gym this is what I have. Andrew in action.

Here is Andrew doing his own thing like he meant to do it. I thought it was pretty funny. He sometime has a hard time paying attention, and I know all about that because he is like that with me too.

Mina you have to go potty?

Andrew wants to help out so much. Kristy is trying to potty train Mina. She is a little scared of the big potty. But she is much better with her own potty. Andrew was trying to potty train Mina. He kept asking Mina if she had to go Potty. Andrew would walk her over to her potty. The first time she sat down she was a little wet. I asked him to get her a diaper he came back with big girl underwear he said "Mina wants to wear big girl underwear." then he tried to help her put them on. That did not work out that well, but it was cut. Then Andrew brought her back to the potty and told Mina. To pick up the lid, pull down her pant, and she did. Then she sat and actually went potty. He kept asking her the whole rest of the night "Mina you have to go potty, Mina you have to go potty, Mina you have to go potty?" over and over. I am a little surprised she did not get mad at him. I was getting a little annoyed with it and he wasn't even asking me. He want to take care of everything it is great sometime. And others not so much. He is my little helper.

Gymnastics

Andrew had his first day at gymnastics yesterday. He had a lot of fun. The class was pretty big. At first he was the only boy amongst 7 girl, not bad for a three year old, but then another little boy came to join in on the fun. Most of those kids were repeating the class so they paid more attention then Andrew. After a while he seemed to do better. It was good to see him with the other kid. He had a blast, after the class we over he said "I want to do go again". Hopefully he will make some friends. The is a good step towards preschool. That will be good for all of us. I will get back to you with some pictures.

Andrew to the rescue

Mina, Kristy and Tim came over tonight. Andrew was done eating. He thought Mina should be done too. Andrew took off Mina's tray and said "Mina's Free!!". We all could not help, but laugh.
Then when they were running around Andrew said "I saved Mina". He was very pleased with himself.

Visit to California

Aunt Adraid and Uncle Lelo left today, we had a nice visit.

Mom, Aunt Adraid, and Uncle Lelo went to Santana Row.

We went to see Mission Carmel. That was great. We also went shopping, any excuse to shop is fine by me.

In Monterey

Andrew hung out with Uncle Lelo a lot. Uncle Lelo has Andrew trained pretty well. You ask him why his is so hansome and he will tell you "Cause Mendoza Blood" Uncle Lelo thinks Andrew looks like a Mendoza. It is pretty cute. Andrew took to his Uncle very well.

We made many sweets for Uncle Lelo and or corse Chocolate Cream Pie his favorite. Aunte Adraid loved the Lemon Cheese Cake. Andrew even got Uncle Lelo to share the last peice of Chocolate Cream Pie with him.
